Middleham Castle Lantern

This hand painted candle lantern is another of my vivid and unusual King Richard III garden ornaments, happy outside in both sun and rain. A fabulous gift for any Ricardian! 
• Middleham Castle, Richard's birthplace, is shown at sunset, with the sun in splendour setting just behind it. 
• I have taken inspiration for the side panels from the Rous Rolls.  Both show the figures of King Richard III, Queen Anne Neville and their son, Edward of Middleham - plus a "Loyaulte Me Lie" motto scroll 

Place it where its rich, jewel-like colours will catch the most light: in the garden as a beautiful sun catcher or on a bright windowsill.

Light with a small church candle or add LED fairy lights to your order for a really magical effect (see FAQs below). You can also adapt it to fit an electric bulb.
